I'm about to pay an Influencer to promote my game

On efforts on promoting my game I'm thinking of different strategies, one of them is to use influencers.

So far, they have turned out to be way cheaper than I thought, there is one with 150k followers on Instagram and around 30% engagement (which is high) that I will be hiring to start promoting the app. I will come back to tell how it went.

You can check out my game for free at https://wildsquadgame.com or going straight to App Store and Play Store and searching for Wild Squad.

Make sure to ask for analytics before working with influencers. I always get analytics on past three posts and insights into where their audience lives.

The problem with a lot of influencer pages is they get most of their impressions from explore or hashtags. You have to check their 'home' impressions are to see what you'll likely get on a sponsored post because it's not going to trend on explore / hashtags in the same capacity

It's also good to check IG story views because swipe ups can have a lot of success. Good ratio for that is 100 swipe ups for every 1,000 views

This is so true! Thanks for the tip, it will be for the next one I hire.

For this one, I didn't really have too many results sadly.

After this, I will try with https://tus10segundos.com/ which is a website to hire latinamerican influencers and have more insights and results before I actually hire them.

Do let us know how it goes! I'm curious to see the results of things like this.

So I paid an influencer in Argentina that has around 160k followers and a good amount of engagement. I was hoping to have at least a couple of hundred downloads from his post but I got less than 50.

      Not a very good idea.

I'm still not sure if it was because of the post he made or maybe his community wasn't interested.

I will keep posting my findings.
