I'm building a customizable meta-search engine

Hello fellow entrepreneurs

I'm building a google-like website that lets users connect their accounts from different services so they can basically search anything with one tool.

So far I've added the ability to connect it with Gmail, Google Drive and Evernote. That means that when I type "cat" I get all my emails, files and notes with that word!
I'm also planning to add the ability to show results from existing search engines like google, duckduckgo, bing etc.

I would love to hear your thoughts about it! I am quite interested to know what other services you think it would be useful to add.
Oh, and if you're really curious, I'm happy to give you early access :)

Cheers!

Sounds interesting. Would the users pay monthly or what's the model?

And what about security and storage? If I can search through my gmail and google drive data, does that mean your servers will have access and/or store my data?

      Hey @fersarr!
I'm still not sure about the business model. Ideally, I would like it to follow a freemium model where users can pay a subscription to get some more advanced integrations and remove ads.
Regarding the possibility of storing your data, that's a big no-no for me. The only goal to access your data is to provide it to you when searching for something :)
I will definitely make that clear in the terms of service page.

I think it's pretty genius. Please let me know when you've built it and I'd love to be an alpha tester!
