I'm building a Daisy Disk for your Google Drive

It all started when I need to review my Google Drive storage usage. I just wish there is an app that helps me to quickly review what files/folders are taking the most of my disk space. Like the Daisy Disk app for macOS.

Now I'm building it (in public). Here is a quick demo:

What do you guys think? Would something like this have a future?

You can sign up for beta testing here: https://drivestats.io

Or follow my journey building this with the hashtag #drivestatsio on Twitter.

Cheers!

Do you plan to build a mobile version as well? or only a web app?

The web works pretty well on mobile so I don't have a plan to build mobile versions for it yet

        got it.

I can`t sign in. the reason is:

        Google hasn’t verified this app
The app is requesting access to sensitive info in your Google Account. Until the developer ([email protected]) verifies this app with Google, you shouldn't use it

Hi there. Sorry about that. The app is currently in close beta and I can only let people use it one by one.

I should have made it clear on the landing page but Google requires the product to be "live" so they can review the app.

Please drop me an email at [email protected] if you want to try the beta! Thanks.

no worries. I sent the email

From the experience I recommend you to pay attention to UI/UX. We launched the platform with similar functionality ( https://linkupst.com/work/Neatly ) and it took us a lot of time to make it user-friendly. In your case, this is especially important because you build a mob version.
