I'm building a job search tracker to replace the spreadsheet

I recently started looking for a new job, and started putting everything in a spreadsheet. That didnt last long as I quickly lost track of who i'd spoke to about what and who needed chasing up.
The data really needs to be structured and cross referenceable - e.g. a friend introduced me to a recruiter, who sent me a job spec. I need to remember to thank the friend for the intro, and review the job spec and get back to the recruiter.
Networking is also a big part of job hunting, especially as every public job has 100s of applicants already (mostly from automated/AI systems), and it's easy to get lost in the crowd and simply ghosted.

So I built out a combo task planner, project management and CRM tool to help pull this all together. It allows me to add my contacts, companies (both recruiters, targets, and people in my network), track job applications and gives me a clear, actionable daily 'todo list'.

For now I'm steering well away from the automated/AI application space, as that is clearly crowded and also doesnt demonstrate any real success for the job applicant.

Give me a buzz if you want to try out the actual app - at the moment i'm using it daily, but just trying to get a few signups to make it worthwhile me publishing and maintaining it for others to use.

P.S. Has anyone else tried to build their own job search system? Curious what's worked (or not)?
