I'm building a SaaS that's not a SaaS. But here is why you should still care.

In the traditional concept of a SaaS, my product is not that. It's B2C first with the SaaS layers integrated and a separate yet-to-be-revealed feature set that is a bit more SaaS-like focusing on the creator economy, influencers, and brands.

I'm going against the grain a bit with my product offering not sticking to a niche, but the vision for the end goal is strong and feedback so far has made me realize I need to go ahead and build 1.0 and let the rest handle itself.

So why should you care?

Because I'm not building another echo chamber discovery distribution platform. Each echo chamber has its purposes for various reasons like if you are building an app for Shopify. You want to be distributed and exposed on that platform. In the end, not everyone is building a Shopify app or has an audience or the marketing capabilities to push their product in front of a large audience that can quickly validate if your product is worth a damn.

This is something greatly missing from the content discovery space. A near-perfect marriage of organic distribution of ideas and established concepts to a mass audience in a fun and simple way.

That's my SaaS that's not SaaS.

Don't make people feel like they are doing work to validate your idea's worth.
