I'm building smart string lights. Tell me how the landing page could be better!

Hey everyone, this is a project I decided to take a leap of faith on earlier this year and start working on full-time.

I won't describe it further - check out the landing page and let me know what's unclear and/or missing! I'd really appreciate your unfiltered thoughts and I'm happy to do the same for yours - just let me know.

If you have smart lights or smart home devices already I'm particularly keen to hear from you - i.e. what else would you like to see for you to consider actually ordering one of these?

Thanks - Matt Clarke

I was confused at first. It would be great have the video playing where the top photo is. Maybe just convert the video to a looping GIF?

I’m not sure that as it is I’d keep scrolling. Also, I understand Guancanotech is the company name ... but with only one product, have you considered a more SEO-friendly domain name?

Thanks - I'd wondered about the company vs. product domain name issue you mentioned too. It's good to hear it coming from someone else. The reason I didn't look to get a domain name for 'Light Canvas' is that I don't know if I'm fully sold on it yet...

I've replaced the short looping video with the scenes demo video (which shows the app alongside) which is hopefully more intriguing, demonstrates what the product is more clearly, and addresses @zerotousers's point as well.

This is probably super cool for streamers :)

Cool idea, thank you. Desktop screen mirroring to the lights shouldn't be difficult

They kinda remind me of new year lights (the first lights). I scrolled down and was like: Oh they aren't just new years lights :) So you may want to put more neutral lights at the start of the lander.

Interesting, you mean like for a new year's countdown? Thanks for the feedback!
