I'm confused. Can you help me to find my Linkedin audience?

Hello guys,

I'm a content marketer and I'm planning to use my LinkedIn account for B2B lead generation. My plan is to find my target audience, send automated friend connections to expand my network then start sharing valuable content.

BUT. I can't really spot my target audience. My services are writing, SEO, content strategy and video marketing. Which target audience should I add to get some quality leads and eventually customers?

Thank you for your answers,

Hi Yigit, i wouldn't recommend automated connections. It'll get your profile banned. Instead, focus on the top 100 people whom you feel will resonate most with you and share/backlink your content.

Choose those with a sizeable following. Follow them, comment, like and build a relationship. Follow their website etc. The audience are likely digital marketers and content marketers on Linkedin.

If you use Sales navigator, it'll identify for you relevant prospects. Think also about which industries or company sizes these audiences might be from.

You're seeing things from your own lens right now, which is what you offer. To find the right audience, you'll have to see things from Linkedin's lens too.

What professional traits are you looking for? Also, you can create a Linkedin ad account and use the forecasting tool to estimate your audience size. Play around with skills targeting, sounds like a good tools for your audience research.
