Yes, this is more like a "charity" at the moment as @levelsio would say. I like writing an content creation so I'll document my learnings on Rust.
While the content is free, there will be video courses as well that users can buy and/or subscribe to.

I think Rust is a great choice. It's one of the faster growers and it's interesting as well. I would have chosen it as a topic myself if not for the fact that it tends to be used mostly only in larger companies and I really like sub 20 person startups.
I'd seriously consider getting my own domain instead of putting it on github.io, though.
That's great feedback. The main motivator for me to do this is actually the learning experience. I'm working on a course already and having written content that drives it is helpful for me and probably also the audience.
re: domain: you're absolutely right. Right now I'm still in a validation phase, so before I buy a domain I wanted to see what the interest rate is :)
Will add one if I get over 100-150 subscribers!
