I'm having difficulty coming up with a short description for my product.

I've been reaching out the my target audience via email asking for some time to jump onto a call. Almost everyone I've spoken with over the phone has expressed interest and asked to be contacted again, which I'm super grateful for!

However, I can't help but feel that I'm missing out on a larger audience because I'm having trouble conveying what my product does in a succinct manner.

Does anyone have any advice or recommendations of resources that'd help me navigate this issue?

I don't mind sharing the follow-up email I send when individuals ask for more information in case individuals want to give direct feedback here, let me know if that'd be helpful.

If you have people that already want to use and buy your product, ask them to describe it. That's the golden ticket.

Best way to get a better description is to hear from others how'd they describe your product. Drop a link and I'll let you know in my own words.

I don't have a link to the website as I'm currently working on developing it. What I do have though is a wireframe of my landing page. I can share that with you if that'd works for you.

Saw in twitter feed that copy AI is available and free for the time being. You could give that a try and see what they’d auto generate based on your inputs.

Start with a first bad draft
Write it in as many words as you need
Try to make it shorter everyday by a bit
You should strive to get to a 10 word pitch
    Constantly cut down scope
Feel good with itterating a little each time

Read Harry Dry’s marketing examples. Recently published a landing page guideline that illustrates how to craft your headline and subtitles. Very useful for product description as well!

You can start by discussing your product with friends and family. Encourage them to ask you questions, and give you feedback. You can experiment by using a different pitch each time. I am certain you will gain something from each conversation and improve your product pitch.

Send over the wireframe to my email (check my IH profile), and I'll be happy to take a look. Not sure I'll be any help -- but willing to see if I can.
