I'm launching a UI library for Dark Mode

Hey IH friends 👋

Today I'm launching Dracula UI, a dark-first collection of UI components.

Dracula UI

Dracula started as a simple theme and it's now available on 178 apps.

Dracula UI will bring another dimension to the dark mode era, making it easier for people to build dark websites.

Key features

• 21 components
• Works with any HTML/CSS site
• Built with TypeScript and React
• VSCode autocomplete plugin included
• Plus, a full design system available on Figma

Journey

It's been 6 months since @nettofarah and I started working on this project.

Netto and Zeno working

We initially put together an extremely simple landing page to collect emails. And now we're launching with 2,382 contacts on Mailchimp.

Mailchimp Dashboard

Before we started building the actual product, we created a survey on Typeform to better understand what technologies people used. This survey had 1,735 views and 1,018 responses.

We built the MVP based on those answers and now we're here: launch day! 🎉

I hope this can be helpful and that you build some gorgeous apps with it :)

Let me know if you have any questions!

I'm here to answer every single one of them.

Share please how you could find your 1735 respondents?

The Dracula Theme website has a pretty significant number of daily visitors. We added a banner to https://draculatheme.com with a call to action to have users join the waitlist.
