Hi everyone! Some time ago, I have started works on my first big project, which was start like just a training in new technology. But after 3 months of work, it becomes something huge (but it's only I think so).
In few words, this is API platform for building serverless applications, which offers to the users, a data storage, user management, and email sending service.
Feel free and write everything that is you about my project and general idea and also worth continuing work on this or not?
Thanks :)
This is the website url:
Hi Igor, your project seems nice but also seems huge. Do you have a team to work on this?
One thing that might help people to understand your concept is to provide and example. How is an app created with and without your solution?
Android Annotations is a nice example on a comparison http://androidannotations.org (I am not affiliated with the product nor defend it)
Hi Marcos, thank you for your feedback.
I think it will be a great idea to do some examples, about how it actually works.
No, I have not a team, I working on this project alone.
Thank you again :)
It seems like a really big project, you might need help to make it work.
Hi Igor,
my congrats on your launch! Did you work alone or you have a team?
Which technologies have you learned during working on the project?
My question is - how you are going to distinguish yourself from the existing solutions? Like Google Cloud and other giants that (from my point of view, correct me if I'm wrong) do pretty much the same?
Thanks!
Hi! Thank you for your feedback :)
I was work on this project alone. I started to do it using Ruby on Rails and Angular on the client side. I think the difference between Omnis and others solutions is that Omnis more flexible than Firebase or others (but it's only I think so). The biggest feature of Omnis its image processing to defined sizes. In the plan for the future, I want to add something like relations between an endpoint and build infrastructure for getting more feature out of the box. Something like completed admin panels for js frameworks filtered returned data and more others cool things

unfortunately, I have nobody who can review the texts on the presence of typos...
but I trying to fix it by myself.
Maybe you are right, the authentication process too complicated. I will switch off two-facto-authentication for now.
Thank U Christopher :)
You can also use www.grammarly.com to eliminate some of typos and grammatical errors
You can use https://fiverr.com/ to find someone to proofread your texts. For relatively low cost, you can get them all corrected! :)
