It has been said the only real product validation is to charge people for money, so I tried to monetize in a lot of different ways, but none of them gets me anywhere very far.
Long story short without getting too detailed into the product, I tried things like
I'm getting little revenue from doing all these effort, and starting to lose motivation on continuing. I felt on the 2B side, there's lacking of more connections to businesses, especially high level people who can make buying decisions, and on the 2C side, the conversion rate is very low that doesn't get me anywhere.
Am I missing anything obvious? What would be some tactical advices you might have? I could really use some pointers. Thanks!
it sounds like you're doing a lot right... but, it's optimizing for a sale instead of a relationship.
selling takes time and it requires trust. and that isn't easily or quickly learned. posting products on forums isn't very useful and doesn't necessarily build trust... it could be considered just spammy, right?
you can move fast if you have trust, but, without it, you wouldn't be able to build anything sustainable anyways.
Well said!
Especially on the part of building real relationships with real people.
it takes a lot of effort and time. community building is nothing more than just relationship building... at scale... but, slowly. real slowly.
I'd second what @8bit says.
I even wrote something on the topic - https://www.indiehackers.com/post/do-you-build-trust-into-your-growth-equation-8fa9a18387
Also, I would ask:
there we go.
providing more to the conversation instead of just "noise" (more signal, that is) is great.
Sounds like you need a sustained stream of customers. Have you invested in SEO at all?
What is the product? Can you link us to the landing page?
