I'm offering free marketing until Wednesday | let's gooo

Swamped with requests and unable to take any more. Hopefully I'll have time to do this again for some more of you in the near future!

Keep on keepin' on, y'all!

I'm attempting to put marketing packages together that combine y'alls new AI tools with my go-to templates to replace the need for hiring a marketing agency.

Agencies are good at exploding your growth. I want to help people get from 0 to 1, then 1-100. No need to pay oodles for that, you just need a solid foundation.

So ya, I'm wanting to test whether these packages are helpful before offering them to my current clients.

I'm going to help out however many peeps I can from now until EOD Wednesday (first come first serve).

In return, I would like feedback, and if I was helpful, a future referral.

Background -
Here's my marketing biz: Fletch Mkt.
The mkt. biz I'm building: IH AiGency
Here's the app I built: Econus

Needs -

  • Must already be launched and are trying to get from 0 to 1 or 1 to 100
  • You are marketing your business, but feel all over the place
  • Include your name, website, and a quick paragraph (150 words tops) about what marketing you've tried to this point

    Hey Scott, this is awesome!

    I'm Ted.

My project is a free to use uk personal finance and retirement calculator aimed at making early retirement and financial independence accessible for everyone regardless of their level of financial literacy - and spelling out the detail in black and white.

    The site is https://blackandwhitefire.com

I'm currently building and iterating using feedback from IndieHackers and r/FIREUK on reddit which has been immensely valuable, but doesn't feel sustainable (i.e. the tool will come to a natural state of maturity) and I really want to be able to start seeing organic search as a key traffic source.

See most recent reddit post from today https://www.reddit.com/r/FIREUK/s/ENK7vfwkwy

Had 4.7k users of the site and roughly 7.14k site views since launching on December 29th & i'm on release 6 of the tool.

If this is still available I would love some help!

Brilliant work building it alongside that reddit sub.

I wouldn't discount the value of that sub to you and would keep pushing full steam ahead. Your site has a brand new (6) Domain Authority, so it's unlikely you'll rank for any valuable keywords in the near term. Also, FIRE is jargon, it's not a common word someone would search for "as opposed to Retirement Calculator", which is already dominated by some major players.

I would start thinking about how to grow the Word of Mouth and affiliate marketing here. Can you comb through the r/ and find what the main issue people are experiencing? Maybe put up a paywall to that feature alone. From there, you could grant free access to that feature by sharing the tool and creating some social awareness? If you do go that approach, make sure you have some sort of social presence for users to check you out on. The purpose won't be to sell people per-se, but rather to prove that you are an active company and engaged in making this product as good as it can be.

I hope that helps! If you want to chat more, schedule a time here - https://aigency.softr.app/

Amazing thank you, where do you look up DA out of interest?

I have a few features that could be rolled into a premium model I've considered - the ability to save off versions of simulations to run comparrisons i.e. if I contributed 1% more how much would that increase my retirement income.

Thanks for your advice - really appreciate it!

Hi Scott. I help women leaders tell better stories about themselves on big stages.
I do this in one of two ways:

1:1 Full day strategy sprints. Big fan of international destinations to eject women out of their daily routines, creating the right mental white space

Mastermind. A year long program, culminating in a TEDxtalk on a NYC stage.

Marketing : I post about storytelling and AI each day on Linkedin and my blog

Target audience: Men or women 45-55, at a critical inflection point in their career. Seeking the next level. Needs to tell the right story to get there. I emailed this to you as well.

    Name Joya Dass

This is SWEET and perfect timing!
We've recently pivoted ProductizedHQ.com a bit to focus more on reviewing Productized Services (which works out well for Fletch Mkt :) ) and would love your thoughts.

    Details:

    • SEO is main goal. We're at ~8k impressions in the last 3 months, but want it to be the main place people find us.
    • We want to be the authority on finding and comparing Productized Services.

We're building the knowledge/authority under ProductizedHQ.com and the Hub for Finding Services at Productized.shop

Psyched to hear your thoughts! If you want to run us through the onboarding process or a standard client procedure, we'd love to write a review in exchange :)

      Hey hey!

I've dug into your site a bit and I'm not so sure SEO should be your main focus at this point in time.

I do love the idea of a productized services directory, because yes, Fletch Mkt. ;), but with a 6 DA and no current topical authority, SEO is going to be a massive mountain to climb.

The other thought that comes to mind is that a search for "productized services" seems like a search a company looking to productize their service would make or an agency who needs these services, as opposed to a search an individual (person or company) trying to find productized services. For example, if I am looking product that uses AI to automate my SEO, I'm going to search AI and SEO, I'm not going to search productized services followed by AI SEO. On the other hand, if I am a small marketing agency that is looking to white label an AI service to serve my clients SEO, or to find all the other productized services available that I could white label and reduce the need to hire an employee, this could be very intriguing.

So the main question is, who is your target audience? If it's the small agency owners trying to white label productized services, start populating the services that would be most beneficial for them so they see value right on the home page. If it's for companies wanting to get on a productized list, create a lead magnet that immediately explains the value to them. Who ever it your target is, make it resonate with them deeply and get it in front of them. SEO will come later in my opinion.

Sorry that was so long winded! If you want to chat more, schedule a time here - https://aigency.softr.app/

First off, your website looks fantastic! I see you're struggling to breach the 0 website visitors mark though, meaning ranking for SEO will be tough, even though everything looks great.

I'm not super familiar with your use cases/target audience, so I'll have to do a bit of digging. Shoot me an email at fletch@fletchmarketing.com with your launch date, links to previous posts, who your ideal customer persona is, and what you currently believe separates you from the competition and I'll start getting into the brush (not quite the weeds ;) )

      1. 1

Thanks! I've sent an email with the information you asked.

Such a kind gift! Thanks for the opportunity to help!

I launched the beta app of my product Nurl (link in bio - not allowed to post yet) that helps enhance IRL/hybrid game sessions by combining AI, extensions, and all the tools you need to run or play a game into one magical place.

I’ve tried boosting social for 48 hours and doing some Reddit posting and Twitch live streams which in total has yielded around 44 users. Looking forward to your feedback!

Hi Scott, my app is investomation.com and I also struggle with marketing. The product is launched and is a map that analyzes housing/demographic trends across US. I've been trying to generate organic SEO traffic over the last few months and writing blogs. I repost my blogs on social media and that tends to generate ~100 visits per post. I was successful getting a couple keywords to rank on Google but for the most part the traffic is still abysmal. I've also tried using HARO for backlink building but not getting many responses. It has been a slow process and I would appreciate any help I can get. Thanks.

Hello, I was wondering if you could teach me a little bit, I am currently starting a brand/company, but before I advance with everything I am educating my self, reading alot, so I can minimize the mistakes, and I was wondering if you could teach me some marketing techniques that I can apply on my company.

    1. 2

That's an incredibly broad request. I think the best I can do is direct you towards a resource such as Linkedin Learning to help you dial in on what you would like/need to learn.

      1. 1

Hello, yes that would be wonderful!
        Thank you for the help!

    Hello Scott,

I've recently launched SocialKiwi. Our tool makes managing social media simple and affordable. Users can plan posts, handle several accounts, and see everything on one calendar. We're reaching more people through online ads and SEO, but we're ready to speed up our growth. We're excited about your offer to blend AI with effective strategies and would love to see how it can help us move from the startup phase to reaching more customers.

    Best,
    Idan

      Hey Idan!

I'd recommend reading through this article - https://www.indiehackers.com/post/tim-bennetto-the-solo-founder-who-built-a-74k-mrr-social-media-tool-after-teaching-himself-to-code-dc9181f409

From there, I'd figure out what makes you unique compared to your heavy weight competitors. Then do what Tim did and differentiate yourself based on those unique features.

  12. 1

Hey Scott, thanks for doing that  !

I recently launched [https://focusplus.io], a Pomodoro timer that embraces your flow state and helps you go through your day.

I just launched it on 2 Reddit communities for now and got some feedback. I also have a Telegram channel with 20 people.

The goal is to go from 0 to 1 and then grow and start to monetize - it's 100% free for now.

Pretty curious to have your thoughts on it

    1. 1

First thought, what is a Pomodoro. Be careful with your main website real estate being used on jargon. Unless that is you are going to be targeting a niche group that should all be very well aware of what this is.

Second thought. I dig it. I love the clean look and layout and would consider it. But I don't feel sold just yet because why would I switch from the current tools I use for productivity? What is your unique selling proposition, what makes you different? Make it known, make it visible.
