So, I've been wanting to tweet more, but never sure what to tweet about.
Anyone in the same boat?
When This Week in Startups finished their Startup Checklist last week...I thought it'd be a good way to kill a couple of birds with 1 stone, which is...
So, yea, I'm on Day 6...taking the Startup Checklist (thisweekinstartups.com/checklist) in sequential order, and Tweeting my daily thoughts on my Twitter (twitter.com/patcheung)
So far so good...just 94 days left!
Anyone wanna join?! I'd love to do this with some other Indiehackers and follow your journeys!
Reply with your Twitter handle. And let's use Twitter #startupchecklist!
Hey @patcheung and @jansroka, I'm in the same boat re: natural introvert trying to put myself out there.
I intend to tweet daily, but I've often struggled to turn my thoughts into something concise and tweetable so I've definitely failed a lot of days. Love this framework, Pat! Seriously smart.
Going to follow you both.
If you are starting, my pro tip would be not to write too much yourself, but just to comment on other people's work. I use it everywhere (IH being a prime example, I comment daily on other people's posts) and it is slowly helping me overcome issues with "what do I write?". Reacting to somebody is easier than being proactive.
Smart and totally agreed. I've been trying to do this too.
I think it's easier to do this on IH than on Twitter, where by the time I see a tweet there are already 20 replies covering pretty much every angle.
that's awesome @mattmoris! just followed you!
This is a great idea. I've been tweeting daily (twitter.com/jansroka), mostly to train myself to better handle being "out there", talking, marketing and while I am making progress, I struggle with finding a consistent approach.
I've been on it for 2+ weeks now, and I can see the progress, but boy is it tough if you are a natural introvert :)
I am not sure if I'll join in, or if I'll follow the list this publicly, but I'll definitely use it as inspiration, therefore, thanks!
Yup, I'm in the same boat of "training myself" to be out there on Twitter. This seems to be a nice little framework for me so far!
