I'm on the first page of Hacker News and page views are unbelievable!
Hey IH,
I launched my Free Favicon Maker on ProductHunt today and wrote a post on Hacker News as well.
The post on HN reached the first page, something I never accomplished for my products! Pageviews are around 80 and reached 100 at some point.
Not sure why upvoted on ProductHunt is not high enough (currently 36). Referrals from PH is nothing in comparison to HN!
I also posted on IH, Reddit, and Twitter, but HN is the main source of visitors.
Would love to hear your feedback for the product, suggest where-else I can submit the product, and your thoughts on how to increase PH upvotes as I expected much higher upvotes.

For my product, ruttl.com, I must say that a lot of the traffic comes from this community.
The activity here is really good and high quality. Having the target audience as entrepreneurs, I think you can scale your presence here to great heights.
Try making people aware about your product here for two weeks, with good amount of engagements on other people's products as well.

From my experience HN sent a lot of traffic on the day then dropped.
PH keeps sending traffic and they actually buy.
Good to know. I'll keep an eye on analytics for a while.
