I'm open-sourcing my career. Please roast me.

I can't take it anymore with my current job, so enough is enough.

I'm a designer, I started my career at the Apple Developer Academy and I miss working on cool projects like I used to do at that time.
Right now, I'm mainly working with large brands for internal platforms (high jewelry, smart cities, airports, etc.), and I'm tired of working on those projects.

My goal is to work as a freelancer for marketing websites, or cool b2c apps.

Since I don't have a portfolio that aligns with my goal, I need to create a new one and build my credibility and social proof.

1. I was thinking of doing some free work (marketing website design + development in Framer) in exchange for testimonials, here and on Twitter.
   (Would anyone be interested?)

2. Do you include projects from your corporate job in your personal portfolio.
   Could I show the logos of the brands I've worked with on my personal site?
   (I've worked for big clients like Bulgari or Enel, it would be cool to make the most of those experiences)

3. I've been collecting articles, guides, and tools in the design world for years.
   If I started doing a weekly deep dive to create a mailing list, would that be a good idea?
   If it goes well, I could sell sponsored slots, for example.

To earn my first dollars and start moving the needle, I want to sell small e-commerce sites on WordPress to small (mom-and-pop type) clothing boutiques in my area.
I would streamline the creation process and only charge a very low price, only to start earning. Does that make sense?
