I'm pissed of by trackers, cookies and popup, so i created Adios Cookies

I'm sure I'm not alone: every time I visit a website and get bombarded with adverts related to my prior visit, I wonder why.

Why internet is becoming a so big piece of trash ? Newsletter pop-ups. Sharing pop-ups. Ads pop-ups. Consent pop-ups...

So I made, for myself, a little chrome extension called F*** Your Cookies.

One of my friends once informed me that he, too, was annoyed by cookies and advertisements. So there were two of us. There was a need.

I discovered some free browser plugins that simply eliminate popups but do not remove trackers, or ads. To accomplish what I wanted, I had to utilize three or four distinct plugins, which slowed down my navigation and were not always up-to-date due to the open source model.

So i decided to create a SAAS service that helps people removing all these trackers, pop-ups and cookies: Adios Cookies! A service where the user can simply send a request to destroy the pop-ups/cookies/trackers on a website where it's not working yet. A service giving back privacy to users.

As a result, instead of needing to update the extension on the store, I can simply upload the updated data to my service to remove these bothersome things.

What are your thoughts on the landing page, and what type of reinsurance do you think I could add?: https://adioscookies.com ?

All in all the landing page is clear and it's also clear what your product does.

Now that I'm actively looking for potential areas of improvement, I found the following:

    • It is not really clear, what your product does better than all these free ad-blockers out there. You explained it perfectly in this post here, but not on the landing page. I think this could work wonders for conversion. Explicitly stating your USP
    • I somehow was surprised by getting to the checkout page when clicking on "Add to Chrome & Edge". I simply did not find any pricing information so I thought I could try or get it for free and I was immediately intimidated. I would not be intimidated, if the pricing would be stated on the landing page. However, could be that this is just a personal preference from me - A/B testing might help here
    • It's not believable, that this huge media companies like Washington Post are using your service - but I guess you put them in anyhow just for getting this round of feedback :-) Otherwise, I'd put something else here.

    Good luck with your service!
