I'm turning my burnout into a side-project.

Hello, πŸ‘‹
For about a year ago, around my 28 birthday, I experienced burnout from work. I was down for 3+ months, with stress, anxiety, and it was pure hell. Like everybody else, I never thought something like that could happen to me, but it id. Fast forward a year. I got out of it through tiny habit building, meditation, and mindfulness. I'm feeling better, stronger, and more fulfilled than ever before. 🀩

Today I'm about to do my first public build, the project is called tinyflow, and it's about how tiny mindful changes can result in remarkable self-improvement results. It's a combination of some of the leading authors in the field. (James Clear, BJ Fogg, Charles Duhigg, Leo Babauta, etc.)

The idea is an app that helps people build good habits, like managing stress, coping with sadness, improving mental health, etc.

It is the first time I'm opening up about my burnout to others, apart from my psychologist.

    Love this! just signed up.

I have not found out a great way to do Habit Stacking digitally, and desperately need it for my morning and night routines.

Thank you so much. I'm working on an MVP now. Would you mind telling me what exactly you are missing in other apps, or would you like me to add?
I would love to hear your feedback and ideas. 😁

super late, but here you go!

        • UX that slides the completed task away/hides it so you only see the next task on your list and/or greys and hides the next tasks after the current one so you're not overwhelmed

        • gives a customizable encouragement boost when you're half-way through your stack for any given activity

        • ability to delete a habit from a specific flow for just one day without altering the recurring stack

        • auto-tracks how many days in a row you successfully completed the stack and presents them beautifully -> so you could social share them like the Spotify end of year recaps

        • gives you the option to combine stacks, esp if you aren't able to finish say the morning stack and want to pick up where you left off during lunch before transitioning to the lunch stack

        • allows time tracking for each task in the stack with one tap to start and stop the timer (thinking mobile UX) -> huge pain point, i never have an idea of how long it takes me to do each habit in a stack or compare it day over day

        • auto-shows additional or fewer tasks for specific days -> my weekend morning stacks are my standard morning ones with additional tasks layered in, but when I change my standard morning one, i want it to change my weekend stacks too automatically

        • has a timer function so once you hit a certain time (like 5 minutes before you need to leave for work) it gives a little alarm/blinks red so you know it's time to ditch the stack and go straight to the last task/stop the stack

        • stacks recur at the same time every day with a customizable push notification

Also - been waiting for this release email, still looking forward to using this eventually!

Wow, thank you so much for your feedback, I’m about to develop it now, and for now it’s just an MVP. I hope I have something in August.

The design looks great. Did you draw the pictures yourself or did you buy them? (The triangular man is very cute)
