Found a project to build my product management skills

    1. 1

      Have you had ideas yet?

  2. 2

Learning basic coding and fundamentals of CS. I'm in e-commerce, and while currently all of my brands are physical products, it seems a no-brainer to have a digital product like a SaaS as the next brand/business. Basic understanding of coding would help me with launching that next project 6-12 months from now, just to better understand the space that the product itself would revolve around.

    1. 2

That's on my list too. Can't reply all on CTO πŸ˜…

      1. 1

I write email newsletters for course creators to help them educate, engage and soft-sell to their audience.

Got it! I love newsletter, best way to nurture audiences ✌️

Excellent skills to obtain! Which sources are you using now?

      1. 1

well, as I said, I haven't started yet, but I know I will have regrets in 6 months... If you have good sources, I'm interested!

Building and scaling a newsletter that teaches SDRs and AEs how to build pipelines that converts.

Learn the ins and outs of a successful SaaS is.

Whenever I'd go to social media platforms I'd see some things like '5 new SaaS ideas for 2023' but would disregard it since I thought SaaS was just another coding acronym I probably wouldn't understand because I don't know how to code. But here I am now pursuing the entrepreneur dream of building a product to sell.

    1. 1

What are you working on? Any ideas yet?

      1. 1

Currently making an MVP for a web app where screenwriters can publish their scripts and other screenwriters can give feedback. Although I haven't started marketing it yet.

        1. 1

Sounds cool! I suggest posting your MVP on Product Hunt, Indie Hacker, and even Reddit. These communities are super supportive and can provide valuable feedback and traction. Once you gather some momentum, you can focus on marketing later. Best of luck!

          1. 1

yeah I want to focus on Reddit since that's where most of my target market hangs out but I'll try on other platforms as well.

How about you? I'm curious where you get most of your traffic from for your UX Playbook.

            1. 1

My top acquisition channels are LinkedIn, Notion Gallery and SEO. I'm all set to expand to Indie Hacker and give Product Hunt some extra love.

Reddit is a goldmine for impressions, but dealing with the mods can be a real pain in the πŸ‘.

              1. 2

True since most Subreddits doesn't really like people promoting their own stuff, it can be a pain πŸ˜….

                1. 1

If you ever figured out a way to hack in Reddit community, please share with us πŸ₯Ί

I'm a 17-year-old dude with a big dream – to make enough money with Chatlas.co so I can finally quit my grocery store job and focus on my business and school. I've been hustling hard, putting all my energy into building this thing from scratch, and though it's scary, I believe in myself and my ideas.

        1. 1

Scare is good, cause you know you will do better. How's Chatlas doing?
