In-depth review of payment gateways for international and local Indie Hackers
I've been talking to several people and have spent over 20 hrs researching the how-to collect payments being a non-US Indie Hacker without violating my visa.
The legal and accounting clusterfuck is pretty mind-bending, especially if you are on a visa and are trying to monetize a side-project.
I've finally settled on using Payoneer for an international receiving account while registering my business in my home country.
But for others who are in a similar situation and unable to choose a payment gateway for their needs. Here is an article that lists different payment options available for SaaS, marketplace, online service, etc.
It has a lot of information, I would skip to the part that interests you. It is a 50m read. Yeah! A small book but I would rather just read this than dick around with lawyers and business lawyers.

Thanks for the pointer to Payoneer. They do look interesting. However, according to https://www.payoneer.com/solutions/pay-your-vat/ one still has to worry about the European VAT mess.

Thanks, rolando :) Taxes are another hassle. The easiest solution for that was to talk to a local Tax consultant.
