In need for a project idea?

Hello IH,

some makers seem to struggle coming up with side project ideas. I've shared some in my most recent blog post. Free to comment on the ideas or leave ideas you feel are worthy to be added.

A good project starts with a problem to solve. Find a problem you currently have, and build something to streamline or fix that problem.

If you don’t have any issues (lucky you) or can’t think of any, create a todo list. Try to differentiate that todo list from others. Use it often and find ways you’d like to improve it yourself.

The goal in creating that todo list is not to have a todo list at the end (that’s a happy accident), but to discover problems along the way. What was the hardest part of building it? Deploying it? Getting people interested? What problems in your own life did having a list solve?

Building something small and simple always sparks so many ideas for me. Then the problem becomes which idea do I want to work on rather than having none.

      Hey @grodier3,

I'm absolutely with you building something small and simple. I've built my first project startupnamecheck.com exactly under this premise. 👍️
