In need of some brutal Product Feedback πŸ‹

Hey Everyone πŸ‘‹

I recently created Clowt.

It's still in the early stages of development, but I've got a few cool features planned out for the coming months. Id love to hear your honest feedback on what's there already. Don't hold back - let me know what you think

thank you thank you

I just want to say that it's awesome; you have done excellent work. Your website is simple, and it shows clear messages about how it works. It's cool! If you already have a few samples, it would be a great idea to include them.

Heey. I saw your landing page and it's simple and clear messageπŸ˜†

    One thing I though about
How can I keep the quality of content? There might be some influencers to create the low quality contents.
It's helpful to use influencers as a marketing, but I know some brands lost loyalty from this kind of marketing because of low quality contents.

So I just wonder if you have any plan to keep the high quality of contents!

Hey πŸ‘‹ happy to offer some feedback!

First off, as a designer myself, I really like the aesthetic going on here. It's nailed that minimalist vibe really well, without being clinical. The logo and arrows are fun enough to soften it - really nice balance.

The service is pretty clear to me straight away, and I'm a total outsider to the world of influencer marketing. My takeaway from the site within the first few seconds is that you help brands find influencers to market and review their product/service - and you only charge them a listing fee, rather than adopt a subscription model. All very straight forward.

The only things I'd maybe suggest is:

    1. Bump up the minimum font size from 14px (especially on the call to action buttons) to make them a little more enticing.

    2. I spotted quite a few grammar issues in your 4-step walkthrough once clicking on 'Active requests'. Proof read that when you get a chance.

Otherwise, I like the idea of it a lot. It seems simple - and simple is always good.

This is pretty cool to be honest, and I was working on an overlapping theme which I'm requesting feedback on soon as well.

    • Love the homepage & theme.
    • Keep the spring moving up and down but keep the main image static.
    • How it works is clear to me
    • We arent --> We aren't
    • Pricing plan is interesting, I think contacting a few brands to get their feedback on it and what they'd willing to pay and in what structure might help.

Im actually pretty interested in partnering up. I build bungkusit to 1.2million users and I think influencer marketing is the next big thing. Let me know if youre interested to help you market this. thanks!

The landing page is clear and clean, same for the interface, it's a pretty good MVP I'd say. I'm not a target for the product so I can't comment on that.

The only thing I don't like is the moving images. Having a dynamic loading is fine but I was bothered by the moving things while I was reading in a way that I can't quite explain.

"Theres never been a better time to start." => "There's [...]"

Found a small bug - when you go to sign up, the tutorial popup lists 1/4 steps, then there are only three steps total, and it skips one on the counter.

Other than that, I like the idea, but was a bit confused on the pricing. I get that the listing is $28 for 60 days, but there seems to be no budget guidance - as someone who has never signed up for a service like this, I only see two price points in the examples, $350 and $50, but I have no idea if I should price more for YouTube, less for TikTok, how many followers translates into how many dollars. And I get it is likely up to the creators to accept, but it feels a bit odd going in blind to other requests and to know if I'm pricing way too high or way too low.

    Thanks for sharing!

I don't like the moving images on the landing page, they make me feel like I'm on a ship, getting sea sick ;) I got what you are offering relatively fast, but I think there is still improvement potential in the wording as "We make influencer marketing easy" is still rather generic. Maybe you could directly state what it is exactly that you make easy within influencer marketing. The "Trusted Creator" section seems a bit weird, just a bunch of random images of people. As long as you cannot link to real influencers I would just remove this. I also don't understand the pricing model. So the 28$ are only for the listing on your platform and then I still have to pay the influencer? Or is that free then?

The platform itself seems easy to use and easy to understand, I like it!

Visually there is nothing to say, except maybe that I am not a big fan of the grid layout. I have the impression that it can complicate the reading of the different existing offers since you have to read from top to bottom and from left to right at the same time. But I'm just trying to make a quibble because the result is still very (very) aesthetic.

On the other hand I wonder about the execution.. For such a project to work it is necessary to have a strong network effect by having already recognized influencers on the platform. How do you plan to do it?

    Great project!

      Absolutely. Thats the next challenge.

      Cheers πŸ™

    1. What did you use to make the landing page? It looks beautiful!

    2. I feel like I've heard on multiple products/platforms that connect influencers to startups. What's the differentiation here?

(Also, I'm building Winstyn[dot]carrd[dot]co, would appreciate feedback! Sorry for the bad syntax, I can't post links officially here yet)

      Hey I used Tailwind CSS

Not quite sure what you mean by point 2 πŸ˜€

I like the idea of your site. I feel like you might need some stronger branding. That said its totally worth keeping it simple if you are just validating your product.

Hi @sambowenhughes, I have a similar remark. I got an intuitive feel that you are building a marketplace (which has its specific difficulties, but you are most likely aware of those). So I was surprised

    1. to not see any influencers, and
    2. the low price

So then I assumed it was some sort of 'Craigslist for influencers' which would explain both surprises.

For the rest the site is clear, I like the design and I really like the name.
    Well done!

This is ace feedback, Seems to be a common pattern amongst feedback too.

      Thank you thank you.

Hey @sambowenhughes, you got my attention with your product. I like the idea. Here are my notes: It's easy to understand what you're offering. Like the LP. On the other side, I wouldn't buy 60 day listing because I don't see any creators on your platform. Also, I'm not sure from your proposition if I can create a request for free or only for 60 GBP. I would try to explain it better. Hope it helps.

P.S. I'm building Userdome - a platform for acquiring feedback on your product. Currently, I'm going to do cross-feedback with other 10 founders and their products. It could be interesting for you as well. Let me know if you want to participate and get feedback from other founders.
