Salesforce is very lucrative and you get access to enterprise customers with deep pockets, but it is a closely knit network and is quite hard to break into.

    Shopify is lucrative and easier.

Chrome extensions are quite good but hard to monetize.

Wordpress lies in between, easy to develop for, has a huge market but intense competitions for some niches.

Lots of SaaS companies pay top $ for Intercom. Building on top of Intercom should definitely be on the list

    webflow is apparently pretty good

I would personal suggest WordPress as a website building platform paird with Divi as a no-code tool. It allows you to get your website up and running in no time to get feedback and for other possible saas ideas.

Once you have confirmation that your idea will work then move over to a more custom solution to fit your saas idea needs.

I've always used Wordpress but if you don't know how to code, then maybe trying some of the no-code tools might help. Personally, I know a little bit of coding so it's easy to build something on Wordpress. It allows for a large number of customisations.
