Hello,
I am building a personal finance app. For 2 weeks I am advertising my app and I have a conversion rate of around 5%. At this moment it is 50-60 landing page visits and 3-4 registrations per day. I will hit 100 registrations soon.
As I am monitoring the registrations, I noticed that most users only sign up and never return again. I am not sure whats the reason of this and I dont know how to get feedback of them.
Things I currently do:
Send a "Follow Up" email after 24 hours of registration, included is a quick tip to get started and a prompt to contact me anytime via email if the user has questions or is missing features.
Users can delete their accounts. I have a text field where the user can enter feedback. Currently no one has deleted their accounts.
How can I increase engagement at least that much that I can get customer feedback? What worked for you?
I would say make sure that your targeting is thorough first off, and make sure your ad creatives are well done and cater to your target market. Those two foundational things will help you tweak your conversion rate.
Craft your ad copy and creative assets in such a way that they grab your consumer's curiosity, as well as introduce the value that your application will bring into their lives. You also want to make sure that your campaign is targeting the right group of people. so maybe try tweaking the categories you are targeting by.
You can increase your user engagement through organics like your social media through community management. Maybe even have a giveaway or an offer such as a free month's subscription, or a referral code.
These are just some ideas off the top of my head but I hope it helps.
