Indie hackers feedback for Worklog express Jira app

Hi,
we have just launched our first Atlassian marketplace app for Jira self-hosted version - 'Worklog express'. We were listening to our clients frequent complaints about not having a proper solution to extend native Jira worklog functionalities, either to complex or too expensive or too slow…. Our idea was not to reinvent the wheel, but to try to find a quicker and more simple way to create and categorize worklogs in Jira.

Worklog express is our interpretation of worklogging in Jira, we are aware there could be more functionalities added, but we want to collect as much feedback as possible before adding more complexity. The addon was primarily developed for our internal use (invoicing), later our several clients requested it so we installed it to their instances. Finally, we decided to try to put it on Atlassian marketplace.

I would really like to hear your opinion and collect some feedback from indie hackers community, all suggestions are more than welcome. What do you think about it? Is it simple enough and does it solve your worklogging problems? Are you getting any value by using it?

My intention is not to sell it to you, but to collect as much feedback as possible (even if it’s not positive at all 😊). As every atlassian app has it's free 1 month trial phase, you can install it and use it first month for free. We are willing to extend it to you as much as required and issue promotional license for interested indie hackers members if you think we can improve it together by implementing your suggestions.

What is it about?

Worklog express introduced the possibility of creating user-defined worklog types which you can use to differ your worklogs and later use it as a resource for invoicing and reporting. Each worklog can be additionally marked as billable or non-billable. There is also a, so called, quick entry form which we introduced in order to speed up the process of creating worklog on user defined set of issues being able to see sum of worklogged time as you are creating worklogs. As there are plenty of worklog reports currently available and it's almost impossible to create as many variations as required, we've created raw data worklog export possibility where you can export issue related data combined with worklog data to an excel sheet and later use it as a good source for reporting and invoicing.

The app can be found and installed from Atlassian marketplace visiting the app landing page:

There is also a link to more detailed documentation explaining the whole concept under Docmentation link which can be found on the Worklog express landing page.
