Calling all Miami indie hackers. I've been a huge fan of IH for a while now and I'm looking to meet up IRL to get to know the local community.
I've seen a few posts about a Miami meetup, but I didn't see anything listed on the meetup page. So I decided to throw something together and see if there's any interest.
Come join me at Wynwood Brewing on 7/31 @ 6:30pm for the inaugural Indie Hackers Miami meetup.
First round is on me for the first 5 people to show up. Looks like there are 50 or so of us out there so hopefully I won't be drinking alone.

I would like to attend but will be traveling on that date. Can we move it to Friday, August 2nd? I can spit the cost of the first round of drinks with you if so?😎
Honestly, I just picked Wednesday and went with it to get started. I'm not married to the date. Right now it's just me and @will_gendron and if it stays small then we can talk about rescheduling.
Or maybe this is just a good excuse to hit up Wynwood twice. I mean it is the responsible way to grow a professional network. I'm investing in myself here. Yeah, that's right. I'm sold.

We have 6 people so I could move the date. I’ll send out a survey to the group to see what’s the best day of the week for future meetups.
How did the meetup go and when is the next one?
We had two people attend including myself. One had to drop last minute. I had a great time talking tech and drinking good beer.

@bunsen I have great news. The meetup is on Wednesday night so you can still get those miles on Tuesday 😉. I used to run with Brickell Run Club when I lived off 5th. Have you run with iRun? That's another really good run club in the area.
