Indie Hackers Post: Week 3 Recap - Navigating Challenges and Celebrating Milestones with Simulit

Hey IndieHackers! Hope your week kicked off on a high note! Here's a dive into my third week with Simulit:

Day 13:
Kicked off the week with a burst of energy! My focus:

Crafting a compelling freebie for those joining the Simulit waitlist.
Developing automated email sequences for new sign-ups to keep the engagement alive.
Polishing the website's copy and considering a pop-up to boost conversions.
I also toyed with the idea of testing Facebook ads to drive traffic and secure more sign-ups.

Day 14:
A packed day with work and soccer practice, but I set a goal to initiate a Facebook ad campaign targeted at boosting our waitlist.

Day 15:
Hit a snag with the planned Facebook ads due to a website issue that needed urgent attention. Pro tip: always keep an eye on your competitors' ads in the Facebook ads library for invaluable insights.

Day 16:
With the website back in shape, it was time to kickstart the Facebook ad campaign and refine the email sequences for our growing waitlist community.

Day 17:
Facebook ads went live! Alongside, I ventured into cold DMs to drive waitlist sign-ups and engaged with Reddit communities to boost visibility.

Day 18:
Took an unexpected break due to sickness. Sometimes, rest is as crucial as action in our entrepreneurial journey.

Day 19:
Back in action, focusing on direct marketing efforts. I paused the Facebook ads to reassess their effectiveness and planned more personalized outreach.

Looking Forward:
This week was a blend of achievements and learning curves. From enhancing user engagement through thoughtful freebies and email sequences to navigating the hiccups of ad campaigns and the importance of health, it's been a ride. As I dive into more personalized outreach, I'm reminded of the power of direct connections in building a community around Simulit.
