Indie hackers with a strong personal brand: tell us about your early days

I am quite convinced that personal branding is perhaps the missing piece, or the most critical component of an Indiehacker journey.

This is exactly what differentiates those with multiple success stories under their belt from those who are struggling to make even one successful product.

The next six months, I intend to work on my own personal brand.

I have not had much success with Twitter (plus, who knows if Elon Musk is really going to throw it all under a paywall). So, I am hoping I can build it on LinkedIn and then move it to whichever platform I feel is the best fit for my audience.

I am curious to hear from other IHers who have been able to successfully build a personal brand of at least a few thousand followers. How did you go from crickets on each of your posts to an interactive audience?

Is it consistency, or luck, or just quality submissions each time. Please tell your story.
