Indie hacking shouldn't be your #1 in life.

Building your business/SaaS/product.

Great, right?

Building lifelong relationships with loved-ones and friends.

Great-er.

Face it.

Being an indie hacker may be awesome, but being human is x1000 of that.

Being an indie hacker and "striking gold" may give you that adrenaline boost at times, but having a real bond with family members or friends can really make a difference. 💖

That's something that "Making $1000 in 24 hours" can't do.

True happiness doesn't come from money or from fame.

As David O. Mckay says:

True happiness comes only by making others happy.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

I hope you have a wonderful day. 👋

    Well said, Brayden 👏

Most of us here live in the western world, where consumerism and pure-bred capitalism is overly glorified. We think buying a massive house or a new BMW will make us happy, but they never do.

Being financially free is a noble goal, but it shouldn't be at the top of your bucket list.

Yeah, so true. Thanks for reading.

This is so true...thanks a lot for taking the time to write this, Brayden! We sometimes neglect our loved ones when we're so focused on our projects that it starts becoming really unhealthy... :(

      Agreed :(

I wanted to write this just as a little reminder. Family comes first 💖

Thanks for the reminder! Often, we're so entrenched at what we're working on that we forget the true important people and memories in our lives.

Yeah, it might not seem like a big deal, but it really is.

      Thanks for reading!

Thanks for touching on this important topic Brayden. Not only is this important for indie hackers to know, it is important for pretty much anyone.

      Very true. Thanks, Ben.
