Indie10k: Why Consistent Practice Beats Perfect Strategy

Everyone’s chasing the perfect growth strategy.
The perfect funnel.
The perfect launch plan.

But here’s the truth I’ve learned building Indie10k: consistency compounds faster than genius.

You don’t need the perfect plan.
You need a repeatable practice.

When I first started Indie10k, I obsessed over frameworks — retention loops, activation funnels, PLG metrics.
I thought once I found the “right” strategy, growth would click.

It didn’t.

What finally worked?
Doing one rep every day — shipping, sharing, improving — even when no one noticed.

That daily consistency created data.
That data created clarity.
That clarity made the next move obvious.

Now I see it like this:

  • Strategy is a compass — it points the direction.

  • Practice is the engine — it actually gets you there.

You can’t steer a car that isn’t moving.

So if you’re stuck debating which playbook to follow, stop.
Pick one small action you can repeat tomorrow.
Then do it again the next day.
That’s your real growth loop.

💪 Rep

Today, forget “perfect strategy.” Just practice showing up once — ship a post, improve a landing page, or talk to one user. That’s the rep that compounds.

Keep Going!
