I like this riff on James P. Carse's book, "Infinite Games" by Graham Duncan.
because indie hacking is often so WIP and transparent, i think it's pretty easy to get caught up in more finite games or things becoming zero sum/comparative.
in my first big project i built and shared, hindsight being 20/20, I was in too big a rush, creating timelines for progress i hadn't even made.
this time around, working on Foundation, i'm finding a few enjoyable ways to share/market the product that i can continue doing for a long time, even if there's no hockey stick growth.
i use my own product to find essays/blogs i want to read (like this one) and then share clips of them. that's an infinite game. the goal is to keep playing and add more players.
and, that's the whole point of Foundation: find great blogs/essays all in one place.
