Information architecture - what comes to your mind about what it is?

I wonder what other people think when they hear "information architecture" term. I am curious what the general understanding of this discipline is. What are your the first thoughts?

Actually, I know the definition. I focus on information architecture now. But don't want to put the definition here. It could suggest an answer.
