Would you be interested in a site/mailing-list that brought together the most insightful, actionable, and informative articles on marketing?
I have found getting users for software to be hard. And while there are a lot of tips/techniques written on the internet - it is hard to sift through the junk to find what is the most helpful.
I plan to interview experts and create a few lists of articles based on their insights. Would you find such a list helpful? What else would you like on such a site?
I'd appreciate that. Someone else on here created a site detailing how various software companies got there first users/growth (I was looking for it again the other day but have lost it now).
Maybe tags for B2C, B2B, iOS, Android, etc? Maybe ratings so users can come back and say this did or did not work for them?
Hope that helps,
I love the tagging idea, sometimes I wish there was a big "B2C" filter I could use on IndieHackers. Advice is so different for consumer app versus SaaS.
@csallen - is this something IH might have someday?
Maybe someday…
That is helpful - thanks!
please post it here if you find it, that sounds helpful
Ah! It was Early User Growth, there just isn't a link on the landing page:
https://earlyusergrowth.com/startups/
Thanks for sharing - great to see that people are still using this as a resource! There's not a link to the page on the homepage right now, correct. Making some changes to the website sometime soon, also launching something cool regarding sharing more stories about how tech companies are getting their first users soon!
Great, thanks!
This would be really helpful. Though, this stuff gets outdated really fast. So, you would need to find a way to keep those experts suggesting the latest articles.
And I hope the site is free. I don't know if I will be able to justify paying for it - are you thinking of it being ad-driven?
