Fun! Have you thought of doing a grid layout or masonry layout with infinite scroll? Assuming that’s possible, I don’t know what the limits of their api are.
Thank you Mike! I had thought about doing a 6x6 grid at first! But then I saw that the API returned an image per GET request and has a low limit/hour. Unfortunately I went with the current layout. Also this was my first ever encounter with APIs, ReactJS and building something of this kind altogether so I wanted to keep it a bit simple. Will 100% keep your brilliant pointers in mind when I re-implement the concept.
It's a nice tool with a clean design. I'd open the first image immediately, without going through the introductory page and clicking a button, and add an option to get the full-size version of an image.
Also note the NASA logo you have in the favicon has usage restrictions.
Hey PaoloAmoroso! Thank you for the nice compliment, I was kinda not sure about the usage restrictions so went with the logo at first, but yeah - changed it up now just to play safe, appreciate the advice and pointers. I'll keep them in mind :)

You're welcome. NASA is quite liberal with its content usage policies, but limits what can be done with the logo.
