Integrating Web Hooks?

I'm building custom integrations for clients. I'm beginning to manage incoming web hooks that will then be transformed. As more integrations are being added, I'm finding it hard to manage it all. Seeing what others are using in similar workflows?

Also looking to see if there are any tips or pitfalls to look out for when using web hooks offered by services to integrate with.
