Nice write-up! Reselling, flipping and the like is fun. I do thrift stores, but find all different kinds of things I can flip and always expand my knowledge. Though it's not consistent or any sort of business.
Agree. I flipped stuff on Amazon for a while and basically found I was working for an hourly wage. If you stop scanning and buying, you stop making money. :)
Yup. Now I just look for bigger wins if I stop in a thrift store.
What types of goods to you flip? I did books and toys.
Vintage new old stock thermometers, braille typewriter, collectable plates, old mining sign, luxury laptop bag and more. Really anything that looked interesting, I picked up and researched. You get a good sense of what a quality item is. How it feels. The construction of it. Maker marks.
