I had a chat with Ciaran Brennan, a former carpenter turned SAAS founder. He's running a construction cost management startup in Ireland. Ciaran had zero experience with development prior to starting the company, but he knew how to build a business, and how to sell. He also knew how to talk to customers to figure out what he should build in order to get paid.
