Introducing Draft Better
Hi! We built Draft Better to bring users a free, privacy-first canvas editor. Our editor allows users to create their content and seamlessly export it to HTML to share with teammates or embed directly into their email service provider of choice!
You can choose to save your work by seamlessly opening the content in our native compliance and collaboration platform called Teambase to get access to enhanced email, collaboration and compliance workflow features.
Damn! I misread the title and thought the product was called Draft Beer and got immediately interested in knowing more 😅
Regarding the product itself though, I wonder what I would use it for... How is this different from just using an ordinary html editor, Pages on Mac or any email app?
Daniel, love the thought! I can confirm that the making of Draft Better included much Draft Beer!
In terms of how this is different: Traditional email doesn't have support for common HTML like a webpage, so we generate "email safe HTML" that is supported by email clients as a method for seamlessly using HTML or sharing it with more technical teams for additional design enhancements.
Additionally, the real inspiration for Draft Better is to support our more full featured product, Teambase (useteambase. com), which is an all-in-one platform for email collaboration and compliance. We wanted to give away our editor experience for free forever, in a privacy-first approach, with the intent that after creating your content you'd feel compelled to want to share it with your team to begin the process of publishing it to your user base.
With Draft Better we've enabled this transition by having a single click experience that allows users to save progress in teambase and unlock our suite of real-time collaboration and compliance tools. Teambase is also free for the first three users on a team, keeping our offering open and accessible to provide teams the tools they need to ensure every email sent meets your standards with our automated workflows and AI content review features (actively in beta with our design partners in beta and releasing to production in the next week or so!). As for marketing- currently we are using creative channels such as marketing interest groups, product launch websites and linkedin. Our goal is to find marketers who are looking for new ways to develop their content, share it via HTML or if they are after more advanced features leveraging our native compliance and collaboration platform Teambase by simply saving the content and creating an account. Once they do that users will get access to enhanced email, collaboration and compliance workflow features including our AI Review scorecard that is about to be released. This feature will review your content and tell you if you are in compliance with email guidelines and standards.
All of these enhanced features are available to Draft Better users when they save their project in Teambase!
