Introducing End of an Era: A Better Way to Navigate Life’s Hardest Transition

Today, we’re introducing End of an Era to the world.

One year ago, co-founder Kristopher Tan lost his father-in-law, Ken, unexpectedly. Like many, he stepped into the role of executor—only to find it overwhelming, confusing, and emotionally draining.

He’s not alone.

🤯 90% of appointed executors find their role extremely difficult.

No roadmap. No guidance. Just grief—and a mountain of fragmented, bureaucratic tasks.

That experience became the spark behind End of an Era, co-founded by Kristopher Tan and AJ Resnick.

End of an Era is a unified estate succession platform that helps with both proactive estate planning and reactive estate settlement—built to guide families through one of life’s hardest transitions with clarity, support, and peace of mind.

And the need has never been greater:
📉 68% of Americans don’t have a will
⏳ It takes 570 hours on average to settle an estate

So, we’re building a better way:
✅ Guided steps for both planning and settlement
✅ AI-powered automation
✅ Integrations with banks, insurance, and real estate
✅ A legacy experience that goes beyond documents

Whether you're preparing for the future or closing out a loved one's chapter, End of an Era is here to make it simpler, smarter, and more human.

We’re currently:
🛠️ Building the platform (user stories, wireframe designs, prototype done ✅)
