Hello IH and IH podcasters!
I have a new venture that I'd like to share, Megaphone AV." www.megaphoneav.com
Megaphone AV is a creative production partner for podcasters, livestreamers, and longform content creators. We multiply a single podcast episode or livestream event into a suite of short, shareable, and mobile-optimized video clips. Think: audiograms, highlight videos, and similar speech-to-text.
This isn’t a DIY platform like Veed or Promo, rather a full service creative agency / production company model. The goal is to massively upscale client's publishing output, with no change to their workload input. Once designs are locked in, the client simply sends their latest episode, and we return shareable clips, on an ongoing basis.
I'd love to get some feedback on the website (created no-code with Adobe Portfolio) and messaging, but I'm actually most interested in iterating on the backend, content production right now. The workflow is a blend of custom design and automation and I'll need lots of iterations to land on best-practices.
If any IH content creators have a podcast, zoom convo, etc that they'd like to see turned into an audiogram, send it to me at megaphoneav.com and I'll send you a free sample. Samples will have a watermark - not a 'don't steal my work' watermark, but something tasteful that you could hopefully still post without cringing. I'm going to try that as a promotion / outreach model for a while and see how it goes.
Check it out and let me know your thoughts! www.megaphoneav.com
It's hard for me to visualize exactly what your product offers. I would love to see:
Love the idea.
On the landing page, I would love to see one frame with just a simple breakdown of the service you’re offering. Ie a diagram showing a full 1-hour video clip being broken down to 12 bite-size clips (by megaphone of course).
I really appreciate the straightforward value proposition. It’s very clear to me what you’re offering.
Just curious - have you done this for clients (manually) before already? Or are you trying to build some automation tools first?
Thats good, like an infographic type diagram. Thanks.
My background is film and video production (www.bigfootage.net) as a shooter-director-editor. I have done these sorts of videos, but generally, more of a manual, or one-off thing. I have a tool right now that automates a lot of the speech-to-text and titling workflow, but I fully intend to keep building it out as I go. Not perfect, but usable (by me anyway), and ready for some trial runs.
That's cool. It'd be interesting if you offered a trial run to some of the video / podcast producers here on IH. And see what they think of it.
I am considering doing some live streaming, and could definitely try a service like this.
