Introducing RCADE - Allowing Anyone to Make Mashups/Remixes with Music from their Favorite Artists
The RCADE Solution:
Unlicensed remixes garner billions of streams online, but artists struggle to monetize, leaving billions of dollars on the table. Incredibly, user-reworked songs often surpass originals in popularity. Per billboard.com and PEX research, 38% of all music and up to 80% of the top 100 songs on TikTok are user-edited in some way. Our music creation tool addresses this gap, allowing anyone to create remixes and share them on social media. RCADE is CapCut for music (500 million+ users platform that lets anyone edit, remix, and export videos directly to social media). However, the opportunity in music is bigger – unlike video, music is far more portable and can be experienced anywhere online (social media, video games, websites, virtual worlds, et al).
RCADE is a creation tool – fans use portions of existing music to create something new. Our platform’s simplicity abstracts away music theory, allowing anyone to become an artist and, crucially, interact with music in a brand-new way. RCADE also answers the question of monetization – fans pay for the licenses required to create the remixes, and then both artists and fans participate in subsequent revenues from the new music.
