Introduction

Hi IndieHackers!

I've got a lot of experience in development but none in product distribution, so today I turned to an AI chat and it pointed me toward this community. I'd heard of it before but never really took a close look at what goes on here. Honestly, I'm impressed by the scale of the community and the amount of useful material that helps people build skills in development and in promoting their own projects. It's like a separate universe that I stumbled into today.

I guess this is where I'm supposed to write about the product :)

The product is very simple and just at the start of its journey. The core idea: you can create a document template from any existing .docx file and feed it images or PDF files that hold the data for filling out a recurring document. The AI analyzes them, extracts the list of fields needed to build the new document, and you see the result.

Thanks to everyone who joined the testing!

See you soon!

Welcome to IH! One thing that stood out was your comment about being strong on development but new to distribution—that's a transition a lot of technical founders go through. On the product itself, I think the interesting part isn't AI document filling on its own, but removing repetitive document work without forcing people to rebuild templates from scratch. Starting from existing .docx files feels like a smart way to reduce adoption friction.

Thank you for the feedback and support!

Yes, that is exactly the main idea - the implementation should be as simple as possible. This idea was taken from someone who deals with repetitive documents every day, so I think a product like this could be implemented in many different places.

I think that's where the next strategic question becomes interesting.

Making adoption easy and making the product feel indispensable aren't always the same decision.

Happy to share a few thoughts over email if it's useful. What's the best email to reach you?
