Invention to market validation - does this make sense as a product?

Hey everyone,

We're commercializing an invention - sometimes it feels like retrofitting from a standpoint of customer discovery. Hoping to make the idea more clear and to compel potential users!

Question - Does this look like something that you need? Does it even make sense? Here's the link:

I posted a quick poll - any thoughts that you would like to add would really help us out as we prepare to test with friends and family.

Thanks!

the main threat I see here is that nowadays iOS, android and perhaps other Ops already come with a built-in feature for this. In the past I used to use Flux. Does this solve the same problem?

Hey @ozuforyou - great question and thanks for the look.

"Night Light" apps (f.lux or built-in) warm the color of the display for healthy sleep habits. Lumiate slowly pulses the color of the screen 6 times per minute to calm the stress system. Would love to know if this is clear and what you think I could do to improve the website messaging.

      Thanks for the feedback!

This is pretty good, although I don't know what competition exists in mediation apps for desktop. I downloaded it, and will try to use it.

I do have one initial suggestion, could you add a feature which forces me to stop working every set interval. Like every 20 min. the app will turn the screen white and pulse the light. Maybe it will show a reminder to look away from the screen and refocus my eyes. I feel I tend to hurt myself with too much focus on the screen for too long.

@artur124 thanks for the feedback. That sounds like a very cool feature indeed. Let me know what you think about the app, some people find it relaxing on the eyes.

I used the app for a few days now, and I like it. The change in color reminds to me to take a breath once in a while.

Another recommendation I have is for the app to run in the background. I would like to be able to access it from the notification tray. This way it will not take up space in the task bar.

@artur124 glad that you like the app. We can definitely look into the task bar - let me know how it goes moving forward!
