Someone contacted me to see if I could invite them in. Unfortunately I've very few points and no invite codes to share. :( If you are feeling generous, let me know and I'll email this person to contact you.

Sharing Invite Codes openly is usually not a good idea as your reputation score is some way connected to whom you bring in to the community. While I understand you are trying to help here, If you don't know who you are bringing in, don't share the code publicly atleast.

As the community grows, this can be used as a data point to measure credibility. More than that, if the person whom you bring in spams the community, it will impact your reputation and your answers/questions may not be shown. Right now, I don't think there is a ban as such but that is the primary purpose of introducing invite codes.

I respect this approach. IH isn't big enough or influential enough for us to care about a hit to 'rep' on the platform due to giving out a code

Agreed. I'm not knocking them either. IH is great.
The other minor problem with sharing the code openly is that somebody else picked it up before I could pass it on! :)
I agree with the spirit, @ShaneBellone, of taking a little risk with our rep to be able to extend access to the community to those who are not already connected to early adopters.
