Invite to a Twitter Growth Challenge!

I recently came across a tweet by Corey Haines (founder of Swipe Files) and it was a callout for people wanting to scale their growth on twitter.

I was encouraged to sign up and follow along his roadmap but wanted to share the link here in case any other indiehackers want to check out the challenge.

Here's the link:

Choose a specific topic and stick to it. People need to know what to expect. Having a clear niche will make it an easier decision to follow you. Random tweets about things outside of what you originally promised will break the trust you've built and cause follower churn. 90% of your content should be related to your main niche and 10% can deviate from it.

I wish this wasn't the case. People are multi-faceted and should be valued for more than one skill or interest, and people shouldn't have to maintain multiple accounts like @johnbeales_programming, @johnbeales_gardening, @johnbeales_nonprofit to avoid churn. This happens on Instagram too - a photographers will have Portraits, Landscapes, Street, and Nature accounts.

    Let's accept people as people!

Interesting tips and advice here, John. I'm fairly new to trying to share and build my brand on twitter but appreciate your insights here!
