iOS Developer looking for a side project.

I I have been working on some other side projects but I did have a powerful idea for an app recently that I would never be able to build myself. If it is something that interest you I would enjoy exploring it more.

TL;DR Backstory:

• No one really knows how to talk to, or walk with, people who are going through difficult times any more.
• Lasting (a counseling app) is the app I recommend the most to people around me.
• I recently had a friend's friend learn that they had breast cancer. Fortunately (?) my friend's wife had been treatment before and was very adept at walking her through it.

Idea:
Create an app (and eventually a community) that has paths (courses) on dealing with some of life's big moments. Positive: Getting married, having a kid, buying a house, etc. Difficult: Losing a parent, cancer diagnosis, miscarriage, etc.

When I lost my mom at a young age, I had no father or other siblings to help me through the process. I did what any millennial would do. I Googled it. But unlike Googling "how to fix a flat" or "what do you do when you drop water on your mac", Google didn't have clear cut info. There was a lot of legalese around the probate, no real cost expectations on the cremation and worst of all, not really anybody to help me formulate my thoughts/actions/feelings.

I am not 100% what this app would look like. Initially it would be a course on getting through one of these experiences, but eventually much more.

If building this prototype interests you, let me know. I think giving a project like this a breath of life might lead to some wonderful things.

I'm currently in the wireframe stage for an application that hopefully resonates with your story and your mission.

The idea is to get people to meet people in real life and share experiences like yours with others, creating a community of people built around storytelling and empathy. I started this project because I felt that technology just simply isn't magical enough.
