We just crunched the numbers on the last 6 months of our cold outreach campaigns to figure out what works when doing sales outreach to CMOs, VPs and Directors of Marketing.
If you are trying to land your first customers and selling to a Head of Marketing, this might be useful data.
I'm breaking down our reporting into a couple key segmentation groups:

Would love to hear your feedback and see if our data matches up with what you are experiencing in your industry.
Do you guys do the same type of analytics for Operations personas?
We don't have the report yet. I'm planning on creating similar report for other buy personas:
If I get more requests for operations we will prioritize that one.
We just put together a pre-built prospect list of recently hired CMOs. This might help if you are trying to target heads of marketing to pitch your product.

This is pretty good. This was before LinkedIn's connection request limit change right? Have you noticed any changes in data since LinkedIn's decision?
LinkedIn implemented a rate limit for connection requests of about 125 each week. While this might reduce the possible volume, our reporting still holds true in terms of response rates for each of the segmentation groups.
The new rate limit is somewhat of a good thing in my opinion.
Before, LinkedIn would just ban or revoke your account without warning. It was somewhat of a black box.
Now they are just limiting the excessive spamming which I think helps improve the quality.
We very consistently see 10+ meetings each month coming from 400-500 custom, LinkedIn connection requests.
It's good to hear you're still seeing some good numbers and yeah back in the days people had to let their account "cool off" then reduce the outreach when starting it back up. Scary times, but let's see how LinkedIn's change pans out.
I also did this on Linkedin.
It worked for me very well:)
What type of people were you targeting on Linkedin?
CMOS / Marketing Directors /commercial directors, etc
