Is anyone using the paid version of Tailwind to build their landing page/app?

I haven't used tailwind yet. I noticed that tailwind ui has some really great components, but it's priced at $279. Is the price worth it in your experience?

If I had a SaaS I would buy something like that… hours upon hours can be spent messing around with design, a nice template that’s customizable would be worth the 200-300 dollar price tag

The price point is worth it if you can save time equivalent to $279.

This was our main reasoning for buying it (yes, we bought it. Easily saved us 4-5x of that in time).

The other reasons we bought is that we plan to build multiple projects, which are mostly all commercially oriented (didnt want to risk any legal risk) and we wanted to easily get lifetime updates.

There is no "paid version of Tailwind". Tailwind CSS is now, and forever will be, 100% free to use.

You did mention Tailwind UI, that's just a collection of things built with Tailwind CSS. There's nothing special with the version of Tailwind it uses. That said, it's a GREAT starting point for those of us who are design-challenged. It's a curated set of components, pages, layouts, etc. built by a well-respected professional designer (and team) that people can use to jumpstart their projects. I've almost pulled the trigger myself a few times, but when it gets down to it, I'm just cheap.

BUT, could you find similar pieces and parts out there on other sites that you could reuse in your projects? Probably. Have at it. It all becomes a balancing act of time, money, and talent. Best of luck!

Is overrated, you are going to change most of it to adapt it to your brand...

Thank f it would be a free resource still, literally there's no point.
