Hi everyone.
We've been getting users to our Beta through paid advertising. We've learnt from feedback, implemeneted improvements and so on. It's all when and good, but since the Beta is free till July, we're getting anxiety about burning through cash.
Is blogging still worth it? How can my one small blog make an impact on the internet?
If so, how do you find what to write about? Is that where tools like ahrefs and seeing what your competitors are up to, comes in?
Alot of the information about the effectiveness of blogging appears to be out of date, so if someone can shed some relevant/recent light that would be much appreciated!
Blogging for me is kind of a seed that you plant, forgot about it, and then from to times, collect some fruits from it 😛
Blogging is one component which will help you becomeing your own PR machine.
Since blog posts are text-based, still a lot of people can find you and your products through one of your blog posts via Google search.
Yes it is.
Here is my post on marketing my upcoming book. Most of my signups are thanks to my blog and my regular writing.
As many would point out though, it's a long journey and maybe paid advertising is actually cheaper. Depends. Since I don't write my blog just to promote my blog I will continue doing so.
It is a lot of work, without guaranteed success.
It's definitely worth it, there are companies who built their success entirely on content marketing. But you need to have the right expectations: it's not going to be an overnight success.
The idea is to write interesting stuff (for your target audience) that will spread on social media and rank on search engines. People will then visit your website and start getting familiar with your product. Eventually some of them will buy.
