Is deals page a good way to monetize a community?
Hey @csallen, I just stumbled on this Reddit post and would like to know what you think about listing deals on a community platforms and charging companies to list their discounts and offers?
@bentossell Is there a reason why you couldn't approach companies directly and ask for their discounts/offers to be listed on Makerpad in exchange for $$/year? I saw you tweeted some hours ago that you are using joinsecret.com for your deals page. What was the hardest part of managing the deals yourself?
It wasn’t hard but it just fell down my list of priorities every month. So it’s easy and beneficial for me and my members to have it taken care of by a company who focus on it :)
